Fulham Running Club (FRC) was founded in 2004 by Charlie Craven and, since our launch, we have continued our ethos of being informal and welcoming, as well as FREE!

Who can join Fulham Running Club?

Open to all levels of runners, our members (known as Bandits) range in age from young adults to late 60s – everyone is welcome.  Although primarily a running club, our members include keen cyclists, triathletes and duathletes.

How do I join?

COVID UPDATE: Only Full Members (for whom we have contact details for NHS Track & Trace) can register to run in club runs (groups of 6 on Thursdays and Sundays). See Club Runs and Join pages.

You join by joining in! Simply show up to any of our weekly club runs on Tuesday (intervals), Thursday and Sunday – there is no need to register, notify, or pay. You can also come and say “hi” at Fulham Palace parkrun on Saturdays at 9am.

England Athletics Affiliation

FRC is affiliated with England Athletics. If you wish you can join FRC as a FULL MEMBER by registering with England Athletics through FRC at a cost of £22 click here.

A sociable running club

Bandits like a party too! We have our run / social on the first Thursday of the month; and our Christmas party is always a sell out! Find out more >

Want to help out?

The club is run entirely by volunteers: nobody gets paid! There are lots of opportunities to get involved as a volunteer (eg helping out at club runs, arranging social events and running tours, marshalling at races, organising teams for races, helping with social media and the website) and we are very lucky that so many people do volunteer! It’s a great way to get involved and to get to know people. If you want to help out, please let us know!

CLUB MANAGEMENT

The club has a small Executive Committee (ExCo) which co-ordinates and facilitates the effective organisation of the club. We also arrange two all member “powwows” each year where we share ideas and discuss plans and policies. The ExCo has the following members:
