Our weekly sessions

We meet for regular runs three times a week: Tuesday intervals, Thursday club run and Sunday 10@10.

Below we outline the different sessions and locations. Check our Facebook group for times and locations in the weekly announcements.

About our regular sessions

  • There is no need to register for the sessions below - just show up and introduce yourself to the session host.

  • The club runs are a great way to meet other runners and make new friends.

  • We encourage everyone to pace themselves and run at a comfortable pace.

  • Wearing hi-vis/reflective gear and a light source is strongly recommended for all evening club runs in the dark. This is for your safety and that of others.

  • For all locations, unless otherwise stated, there is nowhere secure to leave your belongings.

What are the differences between Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday sessions?

A group of Fulham Running Club runners in Bishop's Park doing intervals

Tuesday intervals @ 18:45

Road, hill or track workouts designed to help you improve your speed and endurance.

They are beginner friendly and last about 45 minutes.

Sessions include briefing, warm-up/drills, core session and stretching. Session details are posted on Facebook.

These are run at a variety of locations, and we are currently running sessions at:

  • Stevenage Road

  • Paddington Track

  • Putney Park Lane (only run on the last Tuesday of the month)

Runners at the start of a Thursday Club Run

Thursday Club Run @ 18:45

Thursdays are a longer, social evening run with a choice of two routes:

  • 2 bridges (6.5km or 4 miles)

  • 3 bridges (10km or 6.2 miles)

Two bridges will usually have a backmarker and runners who want to add more distance to their run are encouraged to try “fishhooking” (see FAQ).

All Club Runs start from Stevenage Road.

Runners on a Sunday morning at Ten at Ten

Sunday 10@10 at 10:00

Sunday is our longest run of the week, but it always ends with coffee and cake.

There is a choice of two routes:

  • 3 bridges (10km or 6 miles)

  • 4 bridges (16km or 10 miles)

This run is available to all paces although some weeks it is faster, some weeks it is slower.

If you are concerned about the distance, some people have been known to do their own run and simply join for the coffee and cake at the end.

10@10 starts at Bishop’s Park Tea House.

Where do we run?

We have a range of locations where our sessions take place. Below are links to Google Maps and what3words for each.
