Get ready for the Southern Cross Country Championships!

By now, your trail shoes should be absolutely caked with mud, and those nice stripy FRC socks? Yeah, they’re probably looking a bit off-white after 5 XC races this winter season. But hey, that’s what being truly committed to this barbaric sport is all about!

Are you ready to push your limits?

• The race will take part at Beckenham Place Park on Saturday 24 January

• Exact times to be confirmed, but we expect a 1pm start

• The ladies will tackle a nice 8km race, while the men will face the brutally tasty 15km!

• Entrance costs £12 per person

• Runners must be EA registered to take part. If you're not EA registered (and never have been), from 1 January you can sign-up for 2026-27 season, and get 15 months for the price of 12. More details to follow.

Make sure you arrive early (about 45 minutes) to get your race number, check your spikes, do a little course recce, and warm up as a team. There will also be the all-important team photo 10 minutes before the start!
