Our Tuesday Session 

Below we outline the different session planned at each of our locations, so you have idea of what to expect for the upcoming month.   

Track Session - August 2025

  • These sessions will focus less on speed and more on tempo, perfect for anyone training for autumn halfs/marathon. 

12-Aug-25

  • 1 x 1200m @ 10k/HM pace w/ 2 mins active recovery;

  • 3 x 600m @ 5k pace w/ 200m jog recoveries;

  • 4 x 400m @ 3k pace w/ 60 second active recoveries;

  • 4 x 200m @ 3k pace w/ 200m jog recoveries.

  • Options to reduce the number of 400s and/or 200s. 5.4k for full set.

19-Aug-25

  • 4 - 6 x

  • (1200m @ 10k pace w/ 45 second recoveries,

  • 400m @ 5k pace w/ 90 second recoveries).

  • total = 6.4k - 9.6k

26-Aug-25

  • 12 - 16+ x 400m @ 5k pace w/ 90 second active recoveries.

  • total = 4.8k - 6.4k

Bishops Park  - August 2025

  • These sessions will focus on speed work and will help to improve your 5k time.  ​

Bishop's Park Track

  • 10-15 x 200m fast with 200m active recovery back to the start.

  • Active recovery is easy jog or walk taking a further 90""-120"" to complete the 'lap'.

 

19-Aug-25

Descending into madness

  • 4x (90"" run, 90""recover)

  • 4x (75"" run, 75""recover)

  • 4x (45"" run, 45""recover)

  • 4.x (30"" run, 30""recover)

  • Total time = 32 minutes

 

26-Aug-25

Pain is just the French word for bread

  • 8-10 x 90"" with 90"" active recovery.

  • Active recovery is easy jog or walk.

  • Total time = 24-30 minutes"
