October to February
Cross Country
Our cross-country (XC) team is a big part of FRC, and we love it because it's fun, affordable, and a great way to get fit.

We compete in the Surrey League from mid-October to February, and we also send teams to the annual relays, London, Southern, and the National Championships.

Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned runner, we have a place for you on our XC team. We offer a variety of training sessions to help you improve your skills, and we're always happy to welcome new members.

Wimbledon Trail Series
The Wimbledon Trail Series is a series of three races that are held on Wimbledon Common every summer. It's a great way to experience some of the best trails in London, and it's always a lot of fun.
The series is very popular with our members, and we typically have 50-60 people racing.

March to November
Sri Chimnoy Series
The Sri Chinmoy marathon team host a series of UK Athletics certified 5k, 10k and relay races throughout the year in Battersea Park.
The courses are really fast and flat (great for those PBs), the entry is super affordable, and it's a great opportunity to get together and have a wee smidge of competitive fun.

May to October
Surrey Road League
The Surrey Road League is a great opportunity for members of our club to compete in a series of local running events.
The league consists of 8 races of varied distances, and the overall winner is the club that scores the most points. We've had a lot of success in the Surrey Road League in recent years, and we're always looking for new members to join our team.

All year round (but mainly Winter)
Trail running
Trail running is a great way to head outdoors and challenge yourself to a different type of run/race.

We have a range of trail runners that undertake a lot of challenging runs throughout the year - whether it's in summer in the Alps, or closer to home in the cold - you can expect to hear words like "undulating" thrown about.

If you like the idea of running and eating a lot of snacks along the way, trail running might be for you!
