So the first Cross Country Race is less than 2 weeks away, and the big question is... Can anybody take the trophies from Tom Mackay’s and Liberty Thompson’s really tight grip?
If you wish to take part in this race (or any of the other Surrey League XC races - which are free for EA members, if you haven't already got your subscription) just hit "Going" on the events Facebook page and the XC captains will sort the rest.
Event pages can be found through our Group on Facebook, or through our upcoming calendar in the menu. Keep your eye on the event pages for further details including travel plans / options for the day.
We also have the London, Southern’s and National XC championships over the winter months. You'll need to pay for these events (usually around £10). We are also going to hopefully enter teams in to the Southern and National Cross Country relays.
Finally, we have the FRC XC championships which takes place at the December Second Sunday race at Wimbledon Common….
So, to summarise… we have a lot of Cross Country racing coming up between now and February next year and we would love to see lot’s of bandits turning up for these races… It’s great fun… I promise (disclaimer: when it’s really cold, wet and muddy it’s not fun at all - but it’s still great to turn up and experience this).

Saturday 24th February - National XC Championships @ Weston Park, Telford
